Bengaluru sexual exploitation case: Event manager may have lured more women

BENGALURU: A 26-year-old event manager Pragadish Kapoor, who was arrested recently for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman model, is suspected to have lured many more fashion models and women on the pretext of getting them modelling opportunities.

A senior police officer said that a laptop seized from the accused has loads of objectionable video clips of young girls and women.

“We have handed over the laptop to the cyber crime police. They will retrieve the contents in the video and give it to us. Only after that we will be able to assess the magnitude of the crime. After the preliminary investigation, we suspect that Pragadish may have lured modelling students and women,” he said.

The accused may have invited the victims to his house and offered milk laced with sedatives. Once unconscious, he would exploit them sexually.
