Hyderabad: 4 kids rescued from bangle unit
Police said the children were trafficked by the owners after paying their parents some money every year.
Hyderabad: Four minor boys from Jharkhand who were working in a bangle making unit in Mailardev-pally were rescued on Sunday. Police said the children were trafficked by the owners after paying their parents some money every year.
The unit was owned by one Mohammed Imran, 30. The boys aged between 9 and 13 belonged to Chatra district in Jharkhand.
“Imran trafficked the kids a month ago by paying some amount as advance to their parents. Imran is a native of Bihar,” sub-inspector I. Mahendranath said.
Police seized the unit and shifted the kids to a rescue home in Saifabad. Imran was booked under Sections 370 and 374 of IPC and Section 79 of Juvenile Justice Act.
