Bengaluru: The Viveknagar police have arrested a security guard for murdering his supervisor by smashing his head with a boulder on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Shivakumar, 28, a native of Bihar and a resident of Koramangala.
The accused, Saurabh Rai, 25, hails from Uttar Pradesh, and was arrested by the police.
According to the police, on Thursday late night while Shivakumar was going home after work, an inebriated Saurabh stopped him near Viveknagar and picked up a fight over a trivial issue.
In a fit of anger, Saurabh picked up a boulder on the roadside and smashed his head with it. Viveknagar police have registered a case.
