Bengaluru: A gang of transgenders allegedly assaulted two of their own community in Banaswadi police limits on Thursday night.
The Banaswadi police are searching for the accused, Anandi, and her associates who assaulted Chithra and Satya near KAHB Quarters with lethal weapons.
Anandi, who has a notorious background, came out of jail on bail six months ago. She was serving a term for forcibly getting a minor boy's sex changed.
Anandi and his gang is involved in collecting hafta from other transgenders. The police have registered a case and are searching for Anandi and her gang members.
