Bengaluru: The West Division police arrested seven burglars and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 13 lakh from them.
With their arrest, the police claimed to have solved 37 cases of theft.
In the first case, the Kengeri police arrested Sunil Kumar (26), Hariprasad (20) and Rajshekhar (19) involved in bike, car and tyre thefts.
They stole bikes, cars and also car wheels in and around Kengeri.
The police recovered two Maruti 800 cars, four two wheelers and eight car tyres worth Rs 6 lakh from them.
In another case, the KP Agrahara police arrested two thieves who along with their associates stole music systems from cars and sold them on JC Road.
Based on a tipoff, the police arrested Nazeer Pasha (42), Riyaz Pasha (35), Afroz Pasha (53) and Sajjad Ahmed (28), and recovered music systems worth Rs 7 lakh from them.
