Hyderabad: The SHE team has booked 30 men, 22 of them majors and the rest minors, for harassing women during Ganesh processions. Many were warned. During the final day of Ganesh immersion, SHE teams were on duty to nab eve teasers.
Police said that some people were found sprinkling water on women who were participating in the Ganesh processions. Some were found throwing water packets. “All these were video recorded.” said ACP Swathi Lakra.
Cases were registered and they will be produced in court, police said.
