Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police officials said that the two women who pressed sexual assault charges on TRS MP Balka Suman had trespassed on the property of the MP previously and a legal procedure to nab them will be initiated soon.
According to K. Srinivas Rao, ACP, Banjara Hills, Boyini Sandhya and Boyini Vijetha, along with two other men identified as Gopal and Shankar had trespassed on the residence of Mr Suman on May 31. He said that Vijetha and Sandhya were jailed for ten days in February for morphing pictures in order to blackmail the MP and a case was registered at Mancherial.
"The facts gathered in the case will be produced in court and eyewitness and technical evidences gathered against the women have to be verified as we only have unofficial details. We have sent the CCTV footage for examination and will produce the same in court," added the official.
"We need to file the chargesheet and start the legal process to apprehend the women," said inspector of Banjara Hills police station, K. Srinivas.
Vijetha and Sandhya alleged that the MP had sexually assaulted them and requested Prime Minister Modi's intervention in the issue.
However, the MP had denied all charges and even went on to say that he would die if the charges are proven against him. Following this, a trespassing case was lodged against them by Marri Suneel, PA of Balka Suman.
A case has been booked against Vijetha and Sandhya at Banjara Hills police station under Sections 448 and 506 of IPC.
