WARANGAL: A 16-year-old Class IX girl was raped and impregnated by two youths in Challagarige village in Chityala mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalapalli district. Although no case has been registered as of now, the youths, were being interrogated by the police. Chityala inspector Mohan said they cannot provide details as a minor girl is involved.
The girl was sent for medical tests and the results have not been released yet. The minor girl who was studying at the Challagarige government high school was befriended by the youths who work as labourers in the village. They seduced her and established a sexual relationship with her. The girl is now six months pregnant but she has not said anything about it to her parents. As they are daily labourers the parents of the girl do not spend much time with her.
However, it is still unclear how the mother took so long to find out about this. The incident came to light when the girl's mother notices physical changes and enquired about it. They filed a police complaint on Wednesday.
