FIR registered against Minister for Forest and Environment Jogu Ramanna

ADILABAD: Adilabad Rural police booked a case against the minister for forest and environment Jogu Ramanna and 26 others under the SC and ST Atrocities Act on the directions of the Adilabad Munsif Court.

According to Adilabad Rural SI L. Raju, a case has been filed against the minister and 26 others including tahasildar and RDO two days ago on the directions of the court. It is learned that court gave directions when one Sidam Prasad, ward member of Mamidiguda in Adilabad mandal filed a private petition in the court. SI said the DSP will further investigate the case. Petitioner stated that he was abused with his caste name and was threatened.
