Two passengers who concealed gold sheet in a flask and gold rods in the handle of trolley bag were nabbed by air intelligence officials.

Hyderabad: Two air passengers who concealed a gold sheet in a flask and gold rods in the handle of a trolley bag were nabbed by air intelligence officials at RGI Airport. Officials recovered 462 grams of gold worth around Rs 13.72 lakh from them. The duo landed at RGIA from Dubai by Indigo flight 6E025 on Monday night. Official teams checked them for dutiable goods, but they did not reveal anything initially.

Later, officials found the flask and trolley bag suspicious and after checking found that they had concealed a gold sheet weighing 235 grams in the flask and two gold rods weighing 277 grams as handles on the trolley bag.
