Bengaluru: Gang thrashes three for staring at them
Bengaluru: A gang of youth assaulted three men with cricket bats over a trivial reason on Lal Bagh Main Road on Sunday night. Nagaraj, 27, Kamal, 25, and Abbu, 24, all residents of K.S. Garden, were injured in the incident. Nagaraj, who runs a printing press, has sustained a fracture in his hand. His wedding was scheduled for March 11. The two others have sustained minor injuries.
Nagaraj along with Kamal and Abbu had gone to a relative’s house in Cubbonpet on Sunday evening to invite them for his wedding. While returning home, the three friends went to a tea stall, where they reportedly stared at two youngsters from Ramanna Garden. “Accusing the trio of staring at them, the two youth picked up a quarrel with them but both the groups were pacified by the public. But while the trio was going on Lal Bagh Road 3rd Cross around 9 pm, a gang of youth who came in an auto and bikes, assaulted them with cricket bats and escaped,” the Sampangiramanagar police, who have registered a case, said.
