Hyderabad: Two persons on a bike were killed on the spot when the rider lost control and hit a car near Guru Nanak college under Ibrahimpatnam police station late Sunday night.
The victims, M. Shiva Kumar (31) and his friend Rahim (40), residents of Chintapatla in Yacharam mandal, were returning home after attending work, Ibrahimpatnam police said.
On receiving information, the police reached the spot and shifted the victims to a government hospital for postmortem. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered and police are investigating. The accident occurred on an interior road where there is no CCTV. The car has been seized.
