Telangana: Boy complains of threat from his father
Hyderabad: A 14-year-old boy from Bandlaguda has approached the Balala Hakkula Sangham alleging that he faced a threat to his life from his father. The boy in his complaint said that his father Vivekananda Naik was abusing him, his sister and mother regularly, due to which they sustained bleeding injuries. Cyberabad police launched an inquiry into the complaint.
The boy, a resident of NFC colony in Bandlaguda, said that almost every day his father comes home heavily drunk and beats up his mother and his eight-year-old sister severely. “We are terrified at my father’s behaviour. Please protect us from him,” he said.
Balala Hakkula Sangham forwarded the boy’s letter to Cyberabad police and said that action should be taken against such parents. “We are checking the complaint. Based on facts we will proceed,” a police official from Shamshabad said.
