Chennai: Two including electrician, electrocuted
At the Koyambedu flower market, a woman sanitary worker was electrocuted while cleaning the public toilet there on Monday morning.
Chennai: Two, including an electrician, were electrocuted in the city in the past 24 hours. At the Koyambedu flower market, a woman sanitary worker was electrocuted while cleaning the public toilet there on Monday morning. Police sources said that G. Manjula who has been working there for over a decade contacted a live wire which led to the accident. She was declared brought dead at the hospital. In another incident, a 54-year-old electrician was electrocuted while doing repair works at a house in Kodambakkam on Sunday. The deceased man was identified as Rose of Alagiri nagar in Vadapalani. On Sunday, he went to attend a complaint at Vanniyar Street when he got electrocuted.
