Hyderabad: A youth was arrested by the Kalapatthar police for spraying liquid from an unidentified can he found on the ground, under the influence of alcohol, late on Sunday night. He sprayed the liquid on pedestrians and inside houses through doors and windows, causing itching and rashes to the people.
According to police, Yaseen Ali, 19, a resident of Tadbund, consumed liquor on Sunday and found a spray can at ITI ground.
“He revealed that he first sprayed the substance on himself and got rashes, following which he sprayed it on passersby causing itching and burning sensation to people. When he was spraying it through doors and windows of houses, he injured a 6-year-old boy and a woman, Hazra Begum, who approached the police and registered a complaint,” the police said.
