Hyderabad: 62 blots of LSD seized, two held

The Bitcoin is internet currency mostly used by hackers to collect money in ransomeware cases.

Hyderabad: The anti-narcotic team constituted to nab drug peddlers and suppliers in the city with Hyderabad city excise staff, on Thursday nabbed two drug suppliers and seized 62 LSD strips/ blots from their possession. Deputy commissioner C. Vivekananda Reddy said that following the ongoing drugs issue, they formed an anti-narcotic team to work with the city teams. The two teams nabbed another drug supplier in the North Zone of the city.

The team under the supervision of assistant excise superintendent N. Anji Reddy arrested K.P. Anirudh (30) of AS Rao Nagar and Santosh Deepak (22) of Old Alwal. “We have seized 62 LSD strips and Rs 23,300 in cash from their possession besides two cell phones,” Mr Vivekananda said.

“Anirudh is one of the major drug suppliers in the city. He has an account with DARKNET through which he orders drugs from various parts of the country and uses his bank account for making transactions through ZEB PAY App. We are verifying his accounts and mobile phone.” Drug suppliers demand bit-coins in DARKNET or DARKWEB for delivering drugs. Excise teams are concentrating on the bit-coin currency by drug suppliers. They are also decoding the language of cartoon characters that the suppliers use in conversations with students. In another development, the State Task Force of excise and enforcement seized 136 kg of marijuana and arrested two persons while they were transporting ganja from Donkaraya in AP to Mahabubabad in TS and Hyderabad.
