New Delhi: Delhi police arrested a man for harassing over 1,500 women by sending them pornographic content, including x-rated videos and obscene photos almost every night.
According to reports, 31-year-old Mohammad Khalid would randomly dial a number and call people. If it turned out to be a woman, he would immediately save the number and then start sending her porn videos, dirty messages and photos every night, just for fun.

Khalid was arrested from a mobile shop in Sadar Bazar. He confessed to the police that he would only send obscene content to ‘pretty’ women. He revealed that he would save the number and then look them up on WhatsApp, he would then start texting them only if the found the profile picture attractive.
The police recovered three prepaid SIM cards from his possession and they were all registered under fake names.
“The man had been tormenting innocent women … His arrest will be big relief to them. While some came forward to register a complaint, many of them just kept quiet, which encouraged him to target more women,” DCP (Northwest) Vijay Singh was quoted in a report.
The police launched a hunt for him after a woman registered a complaint of harassment. She claimed that Khalid threatened to kill her when she warned of police action.
According to police, Khalid was suffering from depression as he faced repeated rejection from women owing to his short height – 4 feet 10 inches.
He had contacts of over 2000 women from Delhi and NCR region and 60GB of porn content on his phones.
Police said that he comes from a dysfunctional family and might be sent for psychological evaluation and counselling sessions but at the same time warned that it did not mean he would escape punishment for his perverted actions.
