The accused developed a grudge against Rajanna alleging that they fell sick because of Rajanna's sorcery

ADILABAD: A 63-year-old man from Gandhinagar Colony in Khanapur town was beaten to death after he was branded a sorcerer Friday night. Boyini Pedda Rajanna succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in the government hospital at Nirmal in the wee hours on Saturday.

Two persons attacked Rajanna with sharp knives when he was returning home after purchasing essential commodities in the market.

Police took the accused Kuntala Rakesh and Jangala Krupakar into custody. They developed a grudge against Rajanna alleging that they fell sick because of Rajanna’s sorcery.
