Hyderabad: K. Laxmi, 60, who came to see her relative admitted in the Kepal Bones Hospital, Hyderabad, was killed in an accident at Ghatkesar. She sustained severe injuries on her head and right leg. She was immediately admitted in a government hospital near Ghatkesar and later shifted to Yashoda hospital in Secunderabad for better treatment.
According to sources, Laxmi, who is from Karimnagar, came to Hyderabad along with her brother Raji Reddy. On October 4, while Laxmi was crossing the road near the Kepal Bones Hospital, a Swift car coming at a high speed hit her. She was declared dead while undergoing treatment on Sunday. Her body was sent to the Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. Police has registered a case under Section 304A of IPC and the driver has been arrested and sent to judicial remand.
