Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police booked a case against Telugu film producer Bandla Ganesh for threatening financier cum producer Potluri Vara Prasad. Meanwhile, Ganesh lodged a counter-complaint in Banjara hills.

According to the complaint from Mr Prasad in November 2013, Mr Ganesh of Paramesh-wara Art Productions approached him to finance a movie Temper that he was producing and requested Rs 30 crore. Mr Prasad approved the financing of the film and entered into an agreement with Mr Ganesh.

After the completion of film, Mr Ganesh paid Rs 7 crore during the release and allegedly promised to pay the balance within three months. Mr Ganesh issued a post-dated cheque which subsequently bounced. When Mr Prasad tried to contact him regarding this, Mr Ganesh avoided the calls.
