Hyderabad: Allwyn Colony Corporator's son, pals assault two
Hyderabad: Allwyn Colony corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud’s son Dodla Ramu Goud and his friends created ruckus at KPHB after getting drunk and assaulted two persons. A case was registered at the KPHB police station.
Police said the two groups clashed near a tea stall in KPHB after attending Ganesh immersion processions.
V. Hemanth Varma, a businessman and his friends Manideep, Singaiah, G. Sridhar Babu, P. Satish and Jai Krishna went to Siri Tiffin Centre to have tea. After having tea while returning they saw a car parked in the middle of the road. Hemanth requested the people in the car to move aside from the road and give them way. Then Ramu Goud and his friends got down from the vehicle and started abusing Hemanth, police said.
“Seeing this, Hemanth's friends came to his help leading to a heated argument between the groups. After this Ramu Goud and his friends assaulted Hemanth inflicting bleeding injuries,” said inspector Kushalkar.
The inspector said that they are analysing CCTV cameras for checking facts. He said that Ramu Goud also filed a petition but no case was registered.
