Hyderabad: PD Act invoked on 3 held in pregnant woman murder
Hyderabad: The three accused in the sensational murder case of a pregnant woman at Kondapur, including the paramour, have been booked under the Preventive Detention Act by the Cyberabad police on Sunday.On January 29, 2018, the chopped body of a pregnant woman packed in two gunny bags was found abandoned at the Botanical Garden in Kondapur. The victim was identified as Bingi alias Pinki, 32, of Mohana Malti village, Bihar.
Nearly 15 days after the incident, the police apprehended four persons Mamatha Jha, 36, her son Amarkanth Jha, 24, of Mohana Malti, her paramour Vikash Kashyap, 32, of Chandousi village in Uttar Pradesh and Mamatha’s husband Anil Jha, 75.
Cyberabad police commissioner V.C. Sajjanar said that the accused arrested in the murder acted in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order and they should be kept out of the society to prevent such offences.
