The driver demanded Rs 5 crore ransom from the family.
Police have arrested the two accused and produced them in the court.
Hyderabad: The kingpin in the kidnap of Dr Srikanth Goud and an associate were arrested by Delhi Police on Saturday. They were identified as Anuj and brother Sushil Kumar.
Dr Goud from Jogulamba Gadwal district, who is pursuing his higher studies in Delhi, was kidnapped by the driver while he was returning home in an Ola cab.
The driver demanded Rs 5 crore ransom from the family. After two weeks of search, police rescued Dr Goud and arrested four persons. On Saturday, Anuj and Sushil were arrested from Dourala in Uttar Pradesh and were produced before the court. Police said they had planned the kidnap.
