Bengaluru: Former Lokayukta Justice Bhaskar Rao was issued a warrant by the Lokayukta Special Court on Saturday in connection with the extortion racket run within the institution of Lokayukta.
The court had issued summons to Justice Rao directing him to appear on Saturday. But his counsel submitted that his client could not appear as he was unwell. The judge objected and issued the warrant directing the police to produce him by August 30.
