Hyderabad: Watchman kills wife’s paramour
Hyderabad: A watchman working at an apartment complex in Raidurgam killed his wife's paramour during the wee hours on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Ramesh, reportedly surrendered before the police after the killing.
Raidurgam inspector S. Ravinder said that the couple, identified as Ramesh and Shanthi, both in their early thirties, had been living in a rented house in Manik-onda for several years. B. Ramu, 28, a native of Mahbuba-bad district, was working as a labourer in Manikonda. That was where Ramu met Shanthi and developed an illicit relationship with her.
When Ramesh returned home from work around 8 pm on Tuesday, he found Ramu and Shanthi in a compromising position. In a fit of rage, he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Ramu multiple times until he died. Local residents alerted the police about the incident and Ramesh was arrested. Ramu's body has been shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. A case of murder has been registered against Ramesh.
