Man from Secunderabad found dead in Malkajgiri

Police said it appeared that the culprits smashed the victim's head with a boulder.

Hyderabad: A 44-year-old man from Secunderabad was found murdered outside a locked house in Malkajgiri on Tuesday. Police said it appeared that the culprits smashed the victim's head with a boulder.

Based on the identity documents found on his body, cops identified him as Venkata Jaganmohan (44). “The motive behind the murder is not yet known. We are probing all angles,” said an investigating official.

According to Police, Jaganmohan was a resident of Warasiguda in Secunderabad and was working in a printing press. On Monday, he left home for work but did not return.

On Tuesday afternoon, residents of Sattireddy Nagar under Malkajgiri police station noticed the body lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police.

Police has found that the house near which the body is by one Narsaiah and three persons named Venkatesh, Govindaraju and Bharat were staying there for the past few months.

Police suspect that the man was killed inside the house and his body was dumped there.

Based on a complaint from the family members, police has registered a case of murder.
