Kerala High Court to consider plea on CBI probe into Jisha murder
Adv T. B. Mini sought a directive to entrust the probe with a women police officer or a CBI probe into the case.
Kochi: Kerala High Court on Friday will consider a plea seeking CBI probe into the rape and murder of Jisha of Perumbavoor. T. B. Mini, a lawyer at Kerala High Court filed a plea in this regard alleging foul play by the police. Jisha, an LLB student was murdered on the eve of April 28th. Adv T. B. Mini sought a directive to entrust the probe with a women police officer or a CBI probe into the case.
“Police failed to trace the culprits even after a week of the incident so a new team should be constituted or CBI must probe the case. Mini argued that there were allegations from all the corners regarding the investigation by local police. She argued that the investigation by local police will not yield any result.
