Hyderabad: A 42-year-old man working as a centering staff in the construction sector was killed by his son after a heated argument at his house in Kargil Colony, Kulsumpura on Tuesday night.
The accused G. Sai Kumar, who was drunk, strangulated N. Venkatesh with a towel in front of his wife Ramadevi and daughter Mamata and fled, police said. They added that Sai got furious when his father advised him to stop drinking and killed him.
Police rushed to the spot on being informed by accused’s wife Ramadevi and shifted the victim's body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. Police registered a murder case under Section 302 IPC against Sai Kumar who has been taken into custody.
