Vijayawada: A deputy collector rank officer on Friday lodged a complaint with the Pattabhipuram police against his wife, accusing her of plotting to murder him with the help of her paramour. Inspector T. Venkateswarlu said that a case was registered on March 31 based on the complaint by deputy collector N. Yesuratnam, attached to the head office of the social welfare department in Tadepalli town of Guntur district. In his complaint, Mr Yesuratnam named his wife Swarna Mani and one Nadendla Krishna who is working in media.
The inspector said that investigation is on. Later Ms Swarna Mani too lodged a complaint with the grievance cell against her husband regarding the division of assets. SP Ch. Vijaya Rao has deputed the Guntur West DSP Kulasekhar to investigated both the cases.
