Chain-snatcher nabbed by Secunderabad Railway Police, 70gm gold recovered

Last year alone, he committed three offences under Secunderabad station limits. He was sent in remand on Monday.

Hyderabad: Secunderabad Railway Police nabbed a notorious chain-snatcher hailing from Bihar who was involved in three cases last year and recovered more than 70 gm of gold jewellery worth Rs 2.25 lakh from his possession.

Based on information, the police nabbed the suspect, Jalo Mandal, 28, while he moving near the main gate on platform no 1 at Secunderabad station. On interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in chain-snatching and thefts in the railway station and in running trains.
