Hyderabad: 409 caught drunk driving on Saturday
Hyderabad: A total of 409 offenders were jailed for drunken driving (DD) case in Cyberabad Jurisdiction on Saturday. The highest DD cases were registered in Madhapur and Kukatpally with 149 and 79 respectively.
With a huge number of convictions by the local courts, a total of 160 offenders were jailed for three days. Deputy commissioner of police, Cyberabad, S.M. Vijay Kumar appealed to the public not to drink and drive. He also requested parents to monitor their kids and prevent them from driving in a drunken condition. Sitting in the jail for 3 to 25 days, just for thrills is bad.
Here after all citizens should keep in mind that they should not go to Jail for the sake drunken driving.In all Jail cases apart from jail, fine amount of Rs 2000 will be imposed on each offender caught in all Drunk and Drive cases. Without Driving Licence apart from jail a fine of Rs 500 imposed on rider or driver if the vehicle owner is different person the owner who gave vehicle was fined for 5000, and Minor driving fine RS 1000 apart from jail added Kumar.
