Hyderabad: Realtor posing as landlord for loan held by police
According to Police, D Balakrishna Reddy purchased land from Ramakrishna Goud and Ramesh Goud.
Hyderabad: The Uppal Police on Friday arrested a 45-year-old realtor who allegedly impersonated himself as a landowner and created forged documents of a land belonging to another person, and on this basis procured a loan of Rs 1 crore from a bank. R Venkatesh used the photographs of one G Chandranath Goud and got the land registered in his name.
According to Police, D Balakrishna Reddy purchased land from Ramakrishna Goud and Ramesh Goud. Officials from Federal Bank’s Koti branch served notices on Reddy stating that the land was mortgaged and there was a loan of Rs 1 crore pending.
Balakrishna Reddy filed a case with the court and a case was registered in Uppal police station. Based on investigation, police arrested Venkatesh.
