Hyderabad: Cyberabad police arrested Manuguru Mahipal, an autorickshaw driver who took to snatching chains to make up for losses in online gaming. Police said he was involved in two cases at Allapur in April and Madhapur in August.
Madhapur DCP G. Sudeep said police recovered two gold chains. Mahipal would target elderly walkers at isolated places. He had mortgaged his wife’s jewellery for online game.
