Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police have deployed teams to nab the absconding men, including the uncle of the victim Lanka Subramanyam who was kidnapped and thrashed allegedly on the orders of BJP Gaddiannaram corporator Baddam Prem Maheshwar Reddy.
Saroornagar police on Saturday arrested the corporator along with nine others who were plotting the kidnap of a former rowdy sheeter, Lanka Laxminarayana, from Gaddiannaram for getting involved in local disputes but managed to lay their hands on his son Subramanyam.
It was revealed during interrogation that Maheshwar Reddy and some of the other accused , were involved in another kidnapping case reported on August 28, which is also under investigation.
