Inspect Court of Wards, says M A Faiz Khan
HYDERABAD: All the listed items belonging to Paigah Vicar Ul Umra are still under the custody and control of the Court of Wards. M.A. Faiz Khan, Member of the Paigah family, wondered if the items listed by the Court of Wards were still available. “If so, they should be exhibited for inspection of a court-appointed receiver and a member of Paigah family,” he told this newspaper. “These hundreds and thousands of priceless artifects are worth a mammoth sum,” he said. “He, however, raised doubts about whether these listed items were still available in the Court of Wards.
“Till the time it is distributed, it can be put up for display in a separate portion of a museum or a gallery,” he said. Mr Khan said the Court of Wards was solely responsible for the safety of all these priceless heirlooms.” “I request the government to take this very seriously and order the same before we lose our priceless heritage, if we haven’t lost it already,” the member of Paigah family, said.
