Hyderabad: Woman misbehaves with traffic police, vehicle seized
Hyderabad: A 23-year-old woman was caught red-handed violating three traffic rules and when a traffic cop stopped her scooty and questioned her, she responded in a rude manner.
According to the police, the woman was stopped when she was coming in the wrong direction.
On being questioned about riding on the wrong side, she replied in a rude manner. M. Suman Kumar, traffic police inspector, Abids said, “Subsequently, when we asked for her driving licence she refused to show, and insisted that they let her go. When she was about to start the vehicle and leave, a traffic cop went in front of the vehicle and obstructed it. She was involved in a scuffle with him following which he immediately informed the Law and Order police and requested them to send a woman constable.”
The police have booked cases under relevant Sections of the IPC like 181/1777, for riding without a licence, Section 119/177 wrong side driving, Section 179 (1) for disobedience of law and order and Section 129/177 for riding without a helmet.
The police have seized her vehicle.
