'Lower Kinder Garten' girl bleed after teacher sexually assaulted her in school

The girl's parents lodged a complaint against the faculty member and he was placed under arrest, sources said.

Hyderabad: An LKG girl was sexually assaulted by the school physical education teacher on the Hindu Public School premises on Saturday.
The SR Nagar police arrested the teacher, identified as Sreekanth, who sexually assaulted the student inside the school premises, causing her to bleed.
“Noticing the girl bleed, her mother asked her about it and that is when the girl narrated the horror she went through earlier that day. Following this, the girl’s parents lodged a complaint against the faculty member and he was placed under arrest,” sources said.
The school is a newly opened branch and the management should be questioned for their students’ safety, said Achyuta Rao from an NGO for children from Hyderabad.
