Hyderabad: A depressed 30-year-old man killed his father in Hayathnagar on Sunday. Police said that Ramesh hit his father Yadagiri with a stone and fled.
Ch. Pedda Yadagiri, 70, a resident of Kuntlur village used to prepare ayurvedic drugs. His son, Ramesh, an alcoholic, got married five years ago, but his wife filed a harassment case and left home. Since then he was depressed. On Sunday, he took Rs 50 from his dad and returned home drunk. “He demanded money. When his father did not give money he took a stone and hit his head,” inspector J. Narender Goud said.
