Hyderabad: An NRI techie who came to Hyderabad to attend his brother-in-law’s wedding committed suicide at his house in Miyapur on Thursday. In another incident, an employee of a private firm committed suicide in Narsingi.
Miyapur police said P. Jayanth married Sirisha in 2013. Three years ago he went to Canada and was working as a software professional. Around a month ago Jayanth came to Hyderabad to attend his brother-in-law Sampa-th's wedding. On Wednesday, Jayanth met his wife. On Thursday morning he was found hanging. Jayanth left a suicide note stating that he was troubled by financial problems. “Nobody is responsible for my death,” his suicide note said.
In Narsingi, Rashmi Sharma, the wife of NRI Sanjeev Sharma, hanged herself in their flat.
Rashmi was working for a private firm while Sanjeev was working for a bank in the US. On Thursday he and his two kids went to Manikonda. When they returned they found the door locked. Later, he and neighbours, broke open the door and found her hanging.
Police suspect family disputes could be a reason behind Rashmi's suicide.
