Hyderabad: A 27-year-old teacher working for a private school has alleged that she was harassed by the principal. Based on a complaint from the victim, Kushaiguda police registered a case against principal Anji Reddy. Police said the complainant was working in the high school section of the Krishnaveni Talent School in Kapra. She said that since some months, principal Anji Reddy, 29, had been troubling her whenever she was alone on the school campus. Despite warning him several times to stay away he did not change.
She said that her husband intervened after knowing about her problems and warned Anji to stay away. But his behaviour remained the same. Unable to bear the harassment and humiliation, she said she approached the police. A case of assault and criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty (354-A) was registered against Anji Reddy. Police found that Anji Reddy is not married. “None of the school’s staff know details about him. He is not coming to school since a week,” Kushaiguda SI S. Sudhir Krishna said.
Police said that it seems he went absconding after knowing that his victim had approached the police.
