Andhra Pradesh CID files list of AgriGold assets
Hyderabad: The CID authorities of AP have submitted a list of 233 properties of AgriGold group of companies to the Hyderabad High Court which will be auctioned to repay depositors. The CID informed the High Court that nine of these properties have a market value of over Rs 50 crore each, including Haailand Resorts at Chinakakani between Guntur and Vijayawada which alone has a market value of Rs 600 crore. The CID authorities estimated the value of the 233 properties at around Rs 2,700 crore. As per the list, the sub-registrar of the area concerned valued Haailand Resorts on 85.13 acres at Rs 90.24 crore. The CID authorities submitted that the market value in the area was very high and the property value would be about Rs 600 crore. The CID calculated the market value of the nine properties to be around Rs 1,320 crore.
The company has commercial properties in 12,543 sq.yd in Vijayawada city, 324 acres of open land in Keesara village in Krishna district, Clarion Power Corporation on 51.26 acres in Tangutur village in Prakasam district, Singaraya Green Power Genco Corporation in 741.12 acres at Hasanapuram of Prakasam district, open plots of 40.99 acres in Rajahmundry, 141.15 acres open land in Chittoor, 110 acres at Nuzvid in Krishna district and 570.75 acres in Nellore district.
The auction of all the nine properties is likely to be conducted by the HC and the auction of another 224 properties which are located in various parts of AP would be conducted through the state government. Meanwhile, the Telangana CID said that it has also identified the properties of the company and a list is being prepared.
