Hyderabad: A 49-year-old rowdy-sheeter was beaten to death a kilometers away from his home at Miyapur on Thursday.The killers hit the victim, A. Janardhan’s head with bricks. Police suspect revenge by enemies. Janardhan was involved in assaults and an attempt to murder case in 1994.
The body of Janardhan was found at Dongalaguda in Prashangar colony on Friday morning by locals. “One part of the head was smashed with boulders and bricks. The killers fled after the murder,” said inspector K. Ramesh.
Janardhan was involved in offences in the early 1990s. In the late 1990s he was expelled from the city by the police. He lived with his parents in IDL colony for a while. Police said he was not involved in any offense in the recent past.
Miyapur police sent the body for autopsy and have booked a case for murder.
