Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone Team, Hyderabad, apprehended five persons and seized 42 kg of ganja from them on Monday. Acting on a tip off, the police officials nabbed the accused near Jaihind Hotel, Saidabad and seized the contraband being transported in a four wheeler.
One of the accused, K. Satyanarayana confessed that he started procuring ganja from the agency areas in Vizag to sell it in the city and earn extra income for his family. The accused were held when they were on the way to Dhoolpet, Mangalhat from Poosalbasthi.
