More raids at HMDA official's kin homes

The ACB wants Purshotham Reddy to surrender himself to conduct more raids.

Hyderabad: Three days past K. Purshotham Reddy, director (planning) HMDA, was booked in a disproportionate assets (DA) case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, he is still at large. On Sunday, sleuths conducted searches at the residences of his relatives in different parts of the city.

Investigating officials stated that residences of his elder daughter, her in-laws and his driver located at Habsiguda, Yellammabanda in Kukatpally, Bowenpally and Manchirevula were raided for any clues.

Purushotham Reddy along with his wife, brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy and mother-in-law is absconding since Friday. They suspect that he has been tipped off about the raids.

Meanwhile, the ACB on Saturday announced a reward on K. Purshotham Reddy. Four teams are working to nab him. On Saturday, the ACB visited the HMDA office at Tarnaka to collect more details.

The ACB wants Purshotham Reddy to surrender himself to conduct more raids. The ACB unearthed properties worth Rs 25 crore during the raids, conducted at 12 places in the city.
