Hyderabad: Unidentified persons broke into the accounts section of the Telangana State Wakf Board on Saturday night. There was no loss of property. According to board officials, the security personnel who were on night duty found the door lock of the accounts sections broken at around 11.30 pm. They alerted the chief executive officer of the board who in turn contacted the police.
Following a complaint from the Wakf Board, we booked a case under attempt of theft of the IPC and have begun investigations, said the assistant commissioner of police, Abids, G. Biksham Reddy. There was no loss of property, he added.
