Cops set up 2 teams to track down kids.

Hyderabad: Two Class VI students studying at the Word and Deed Residential School in Hayathnagar went missing from campus on Friday. The boys, Katika Prabhu Das, 14, and Epuri Pavan Kumar, 12, went missing after breakfast. Police said Prabhu Das, belonging to Nalgonda district, was studying in the school from Class II, and Pavan, hailing from Mahesh-waram, was studying from LKG.

On Friday, while they were getting ready for school, which located on the same campus, Prabhudas told his friends that he was running away and said that the school staff or the police will not be able to find him. His friends thought that he was bragging, but he along with Pavan went missing soon. When they boys did not turn up at school, the principal contacted the hostel warden and found the students were not in the hostel also. After searching the surroundings, a complaint was lodged at the Hayathnagar police station by warden B. Chinna Raju. Police registered a case and set up two special teams to track down the boys.

Police said the boys had not reached their homes and they had no clues about where they went. The guards on the campus did not see the boys when they left the campus.
