Hyderabad: Golconda police on Thursday arrested eight persons for the murder of GHMC garbage contractor V. Raju. The case was solved with the help of CCTV footage.
The suspects were identified A. Ramanjaneyulu, B. Narasimha Chari, P. Shubham, T. Srinivas, N. Nagaraju, B. Ramu, B. Vinod and S. Vijay Kumar.
DCP West Zone A. Venkateswar Rao said Raju, 36, had gone missing on October 26. His body was found in Warangal district. Police found that the gang had kidnapped Raju from Tolichow-ki, where he had gone to collect money from a scrap dealer. The gang, said to be friends of Raju, killed him for the money he used to collect daily.
