Andhra Pradesh: Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Raping Minor Girl

Visakhapatnam: The special court for Pocso cases in Srikakulam convicted a person to 20 years and six months jail term on charges of raping a minor girl. The prosecution said one Gana Snatosh raped a minor girl under Seethampeta police station in Parvathipuram Manyam district in 2018. The then DSP Swaroopa Rani filed a chargesheet in Srikakulam Pocso court after conducting a detailed investigation. She successfully proved the guilt of the accused following which the court pronounced judgment convicting him.
