Missing Australian Parrot Reunited with Owner Thanks to Jubilee Hills Police Efforts

Hyderabad: A four-month-old parrot from Australia, which went missing from its owner’s residence in Jubilee Hills, was traced and handed over to its owner.

According to Jubilee Hills police, Narender Chary, owner of a coffee shop, purchased the bird from Australia.

A few days ago, while feeding the bird, which he named Myru, it flew out. After searching for it for two days, the owner approached Jubilee Hills police, seeking help to trace the missing bird.

Police shared the details of the bird and its pictures to dealers of exotic species seeking support. One of the dealers saw the bird’s picture in the Whatsapp status of a youth who had put it for sale and alerted the police.

Police traced the youngster identified as Mujaheed from Erragadda. He admitted that he purchased it from another person. Police recovered the bird from Mujaheed and handed it over to its owner.
