Hyderabad: Sleuths from the SOT along with the Kusha-iguda police apprehended three Tanzanians on prostitution charges. The arrested persons were identified as Happyness Ksuka, 23, the kingpin, Lilian Reymond Mass-awe, 25, and Paranoid Alex Kiondo, 25.
“Ksuka and Reymond came to India on a visit visa and had rented a penthouse in Kushaiguda. Both the girls uploaded their photos on the internet to indulge in a flesh trade. The police laid a trap for them and arrested them from their residence,” said R. Uma Maheshwara Sharma, DCP, Malkajgiri.
On seeing the police decoy team, they demanded money to indulge in sexual activities. “The team raided the premises and apprehended the girls and another male person. They told they are from Tanzania and came to India on a visit visa,” added the DCP.
Police took them into custody and seized mobile phones from their possession.
